Sprinkler Technician - Full-Time, Seasonal, Hourly

This is a full-time seasonal position. As a repair technician you are expected to:

– Arrive at work prepared and on time each day.
– Ensure that your company-provided uniform is clean and presentable.
– Complete 6-8 customer-scheduled sprinkler/landscaping services daily.
– Arrive on time to each appointment and complete each service efficiently and thoroughly.
– Interact with customers in a professional manner, one that reflects the company’s values.
– Manage your schedule, including rescheduling when applicable.
– Keep track of billable hours and materials utilized to complete each service.
– Accurately enter billable hours and materials utilized into our company’s scheduling software.
– Service and maintain your company assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools.
– Ensure your company assigned vehicle is stocked with all the tools and materials each service may require.
– Work in tandem with the inventory manager to submit weekly re-stocking orders.
– Endorse company policies and our code of ethics in everything you do.

Experience/ Requirements:

– Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– Must submit a motor vehicle record check.
– Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
– Must be able to attend paid training courses in March & April.
– 1-2 Years of landscaping, construction, or equivalent experience preferred (exceptions possible).
– 1-2 Years of irrigation installation, maintenance, or repair experience (exceptions possible).
– Can work full-time from May-September.
– Can work 20-40 hours per week in April & October.
– Capable of safely using hand tools/power tools.
– Adaptable, reliable, and trustworthy.
– Willing and able to work in variable weather conditions.
– Able and willing to stand, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, lift and carry 50+ lbs, grip tools, balance on uneven surfaces, and utilize fine motor skills.

Lawn Care Specialist - Full-Time, Seasonal, Hourly

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly

Employment Status: Full-time Seasonal

Are you looking for a job that gets you outside, working hard, and spending time with others? Look no further than Tough Guys! As a Lawn care specialist, you’ll take care of a wide variety of Laramie landscapes by mowing lawns, edging and trimming, and making sure the yard is green and pleasing to the eye. Our expectation is that you’ll provide top-notch quality and service as one of our Tough Guys.

Equipment: Our Lawn Care Specialists have to be familiar with a wide variety of equipment and tools. You’ll learn how to operate riding lawn mowers, push lawn mowers, Stihl trimmers, aerators, power rakes, rakes, and shovels, as well as driving company trucks and trailers.

We are looking for Trustworthy, Original, Unwavering, Genuine, and Hardworking employees to be a part of the Tough Guys family. Our Lawn Care Specialists are hugely important to our success! This is a seasonal, full-time job that requires 36 to 45 hours a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
(Other duties may also be assigned)

1) Self-motivated.
2) Works well independently as well as with others.
3) Ability to manage time so that the daily schedule is completed in an efficient manner.
 4) Comfortable driving trucks while towing a small trailer. Able to attach, park, and detach trailer safely.
 5) Willing to work in variable weather conditions and supply own weatherproof clothing and boots.
6) Ensure a safe working environment (equipment functioning properly, equipment securely stored and tied down during transportation, use of appropriate PPE).
7) Able and willing to learn to operate a push mower, edger, and riding/zero-turn lawnmower.
8) Able to understand your weekly Lawn Care schedule as it pertains to mowing, as well as the schedules of the rest of the horticulture crew.
9) Able to do a basic diagnosis of problems that arise with lawn equipment, and able to report problems to maintenance.

 Requirements:
  Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
-Must be at least 16 years of age.
-Must submit a motor vehicle record check.
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. 

Landscape Crew Member - Full Time, Seasonal, Hourly

This is a full-time, seasonal position.

Landscape crew members are expected to work together with the crew foreman and other crew members. Crew members will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping the company achieve its goals, completing tasks that are given, and exhibiting company policies and our code of ethics in everything that they do.

Responsibilities:
– Work and communicate efficiently with crew members and foremen.
– Complete the tasks that are given with class and attention to detail.
– Do your part in helping keep a positive environment.
– Perform tasks rapidly and efficiently.
– Arrive to work prepared and on time each day.
– Ensure that your company-provided uniform is clean and presentable.
– Communicate with customers in a professional manner that reflects the company’s values.  

Requirements:
– Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
– Must be at least 16 years of age.
– Must be able to submit a motor vehicle record.
– Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
– Be able and willing to stand, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, lift 75 lbs, carry 50 lbs for 300 feet, grip and operate tools, use fine finger manipulations, and balance on uneven surfaces.
– Able and willing to work in variable weather conditions.
– Able to handle working in a fast-paced environment.
– Be Trustworthy, Original, Unwavering, Genuine, and Hardworking (TOUGH).
– Able to work 40 hours a week
